I have taken this photo few years ago in Saarburg. These cute babies swim close to their parents on the river Saar. I watched their evolution for a few weeks. Although their parents seemed protectors, two of them disappeared. The river was full of dangers.

When my dog killed some chicks down by the river here I was so upset … fortunately she now seems to have grown out of killing things…
