Orakei Basin is a volcanic lake, it is not large and next to the Waitemata Harbour
Here people go water skiing on it and there is a walk way around it where people take their dogs for a walk
I will do more of that soon.
We had really strong winds yesterday so strong it was differcult to stand. Different today

It is a volcanic lake that is not active but it could become active. What the situation is, is that Auckland has many volcanoes that are “Dormant” but if another volcanic eruption occurs it occurs from a different place that the old volcano..

I love walking around the lakes. It really relaxes me!!!! I learned to water ski when I was 8. I love it!
