San Marcos Creek, San Elijo, CA ( part4) The creek above…

This is the last of the photos from my google maps hike!

If you missed part 1, 2, and 3, you can find them here.

1. Part one explains how we got there, and finding the fall.

2. Part two shows the dogs having a blast.

3. The second tier.

Now for the rest. This post has two pages, make sure to click on the second page!

#1 Green grass

and little pools!

#2 More waterfalls

Luna is really loving this place! So is Meika, I haven't even seen her in a while.

#3 Are you coming?

Just look at that cute mug!

#4 More pools!

Under this giant Willow Tree.

There are plenty of big flat rocks just begging for one to sit and enjoy the scene.

#5 Flowers!

It was dark under the canopy, and the sun didn't break through the marine layer until our way back. I set the camera on auto and it really popped the colors.

#6 The tiny treasures

along the way.

Always take time to enjoy the small things in life..

#7 At the waters edge..

A little closer.

#8 For instance….

Would you think this small crack with just a little water flowing down would hold more treasure?

#9 It did!

I have no idea what the name of this tiny water plant is called. This is a macro. The bigger leafed one on the bottom is the half the size of a pencil eraser, and it looked huge. lol

More tiny treasures await, if you click on page 2!

#10 Drip, drip drip…

They look like tiny butterflies to me..  😉

What do you think?

    • Thanks so much Carol, I appreciate you coming along. I, as you might of noticed, am having problems with the site locking up when I type too many characters on a reply. I’m not sure of the cut off point.
Now, about that photo challenge. The object was to go outside, pick a 10×10 spot. Photograph what you see. It was a really fun challenge, and made me see the smaller things in life.
