Otters are aquatic animals capable of living in both fresh water and sea water habitats. They are carnivorous mammals with a life span of up to 20 years. They are seen across the continents including Asia, Europe, Americas and Africa. These were spotted at Vandalur Zoo, Chennai. One can find otters in Indian jungles.
Apart from Otters, one also gets to see big cats such as lions, leopards, tigers and white tigers. The park is also home to large herbivorous animals such as elephants, bisons, zebras, giraffe and hippopotami. Lion safari is another major attraction in this park. Lovely animals, Otters we have some in our Auckland Zoo
Great to know that. They are such lovely creatures.
That must be a very interesting zoo
It is an interesting place to visit.
mixed feelings about zoos
I understand what you say Alex.
but for endangered species, they’re a good idea
Great video. I have never seen an otter even though they live in our country.
I guess it is difficult to spot them in wild. Zoo is the only place we can see them at ease.
Otters are one of my favorite animals to see at zoos and on television. The video was so cool. Made me smile.
I am glad you liked the video Carol.
Otters live here, my friend … they are very playful and cute animals
That is so nice to hear Lado.
But they live in a natural environment with you, dear friend?
I have never seen an otter except in pictures and TV shows. I would love to see them.
I have seen otters only in zoo apart from TV. Hope I can see them in wild. I have spotted only mongoose, snakes, and monkeys in wild.
