Due to the weather being in the fifties, I contemplated on riding my bike, however, the weather quickly changed quickly once I pulled my bicycle out. I literally had my cycling gear on, but for some odd reason I stalled and looked out of the window for a few minutes and just didn’t feel it.
As of late, due to most of the trails being shut down because social distancing has been a problem, I was limited on my options of trails to either Palmer Square or Humboldt Park. Very comfortable running at Humboldt Park, plus it is a lot closer to the neighborhood I reside in, so I chose it over Palmer Square.
Now, other than my hands being cold, my legs felt really good during this run. I guess it is because of the yoga exercises and the many jumping jacks that I have been doing part of my yoga for weight loss routine. I cannot wait to progress into these workouts while getting ready for summer and fall races in Chicago. So excited!
Prior to the run I snapped some cool pictures of the lagoon. If you look closely in one of the pictures you’ll see a duck on the lower right hand side.

Yoga is ideal in these days of lockdown
running being a solitary thing, is still possible. Did you see they banned cycling in all forms in France?
I didn’t see that they banned it, but I did see a cyclists that decided to go on a long ride.
it is banned in France and Italy right now (Cycling).
Glad you are still able to exercise. Stay safe out there.
And the same goes to you too Carol. God bless
