Harry ,”The Missionary Cat!”

Harry lives near by and I often feed this cat when the owner is away. He Meows in a very verbal way. Its usually about food.

He’s often telling me he wants something to eat. He eats a lot.

Harry is definitely on a Mission here, getting food by being extremely loud and vocal.!

  1. Your relationship with Harry reminds me of my relationship I had with my neighbor’s cat Sarah, another gorgeous tuxedo cat. First I had to make friends with her. Cat treats helped. Once we were friends she began to hang out on my front porch so much she practically lived at my house. She was, of course, hoping for cat treats, but she also liked me to pet her and fuss over her. She was an outdoor cat on our fourteen acres, and her owners left her out at night. She disappeared shortly after one of my surgeries and we lived in the city and didn’t get to the country house as often. I’m afraid she became a coyote meal. I miss her every time I visit that house now. It’s just sad.

    • Yes, that’s what a good neighbour is for. Thanks Elenka. We are blessed here with good neighbours but it hasn’t always been that way. So I don’t mind feeding the occasional cat.

    • So true. Harry was found behind a sports club inside a plastic bag as a kitten with other kittens. Someone put the kittens in a plastic bag and sealed them and left them to die. The meowing lead people to them and the members of the sports club adopted the kittens.
Thanks Robin, he has had to fight.
