A single pink bloom… From my checks online, I’m guessing this is a New Guinea Impatiens. It supposedly is larger than the classic impatiens and tolerates more sunshine – which was also a key point in my identifying it as such. I found it growing as a pretty pink dotted low bushy border around a Tudor-style bungalow in Fraser’s Hill, Malaysia. Impatiens are symbolic of motherly love.

Lovely!
Thank you, Ellie
Less is more sometimes. 🙂
I do agree! Thanks, Carol.. 🙂
It’s funny that the name reminds us so closely of “impatience” when the flower is associated with mother’s love 😀
Haha… I always wondered why a flower would be named “impatience”… until now; not even when I found out what it stood for, did it cross my mind! 😀
Beautiful
Thank you, Gina!
