Friday, September 22nd was the first day of the fall season. We are still having very warm temperatures but hopefully soon they will start to cool off a bit.
I captured the sun as it was setting from my deck. This is one of my favorite times of the fall and winter season. The sunsets are again visible from my deck. I have talked about them in the past, and will continue as they truly are my therapeutic sunsets. I wish you all a great day and hope you get a chance to watch a sunset.

Thank you, Carol. I can see why you would love watching those autumn sunsets from your deck. So peaceful. Our autumn begins on 1 September (but 1 August if you ask a farmer!) and I have long wondered how, with so many different climatic zones in such a huge country, Americans can agree on season dates at all 🙂
I agree Norman, the climates are so different but fall is fall no matter where you go. The temperatures and humidity levels are on opposite ends of the charts most of the time.
