Bloodroot (2018-04-23 13-41-52a)
The flowers were growing in a frontyard in my neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois.
I used a Nikon Coolpis P7700 camera with a Canon 250D (=4 diopter) multi-element close-up lens. I then used Luminar 2018 to do the editing. I used the RAW Develop filter to raise the contrast and the clarity and lower the highlights. I also applied the Accent-AI, Details Enhancer and Denoise filters.

I see that you feel an attraction for flowers, they are beautiful as well as yellow lilies.
Actually I like insects more but they are harder to get good photos of.

They remind me of a crocus.
They are very similar but smaller.
