A bird encounter in Cornwall Park yesterday. I was having a look around for trees and heard the sound of a Rosealla
There were two. Then I looked up at this tree and it seemed to talk to me. So I took his picture and he didn’t mind at all. So I said, “Thanks!” When I left.
It had a soothing voice. Yet, whatever the bird said, it certainly meant business in the bird world.
This bird is absolutely perfect in every way. I wish I had this one for a pet. Great colors combinations on him.
Ah, a very pretty parrot!!
Nice photo!!
Thanks so much Alibb
Thanks so much Tasartcraft, glad you like it.
It’s such a beautiful and colorful bird!
Yes, it is a lovely bird. Thanks so much Tzwrites.
Lovely photo parrot!
It certainly is. Although the Ministry of Health and fisheries regard the bird as a pest. Its still a beautiful bird.
The Rosealla is not very nice to other birds.
Such a beautiful bird, wow!
Thanks Carol, I have a full on, cold that breaks out into a cough and I came for a short time. The Rosealla, spoke to me in bird language.
I think its wonderful.
Wow that is so cool to hear Pamela. Nature is amazing!
Are these beautiful parrots walking freely around the trees?
Yes they are Elenka! Thanks so much. They are good fliers too
Such an awesome picture – love your bird works!
Thanks so much Doc, glad you like the bird works.
Its funny, when the dogs, twins and I walk, I am always watching the Hawks gracefully circling high overhead. Wishing, I had a camera with a massive lens so I could capture the majesty of them in flight.
What does the rosealla sound like? Does it sing sweetly or make kind of call, like the crow does?
Thanks so much Barbara, the Rosealla sounds similar but not like a budgie. Its originally from Australia
