I decided to join this challenge so here is my first photo. I am a point and shoot photographer and the birds move very fast
So I have a clear focus for the bird and a blur of blue sea.
This is an Oyster Catcher, in Weymouth. They are quick, nervous birds who fly at impulse. They make shrill pips and it fits with their needle like beak.
Very close. Great shot
Thanks so much Elenka.
Just in time for the shot, Pamela.
and welcome to this challenge.
Thanks Albert, glad to do this.
You’re welcome, Pamela…
I’m glad you do it too…
Awesome capture, Pamela!
Thanks Ellie glad you like the Magpie

Welcome to the 365 day photo challenge!
Thanks so much Carol.
You captured an amazing picture and welcome to the challenge!!!!!!
Thanks so much Doc nice of you to say.
You are most deserving of the praise, I love your pictures!
The photos are great.
Glad you like it Branka, great.
It’s better than I’ve ever been able to do in capturing a flying seagull. And I’ve tried. I can’t get such a close-up when they are flying.
Thanks Barbara, glad you like it. I don’t know how I took it, just point & shot the camera. However I take and delete a lot of photos.
So do I. But sometimes I don’t delete them and I discover I actually can use some of them. City Daily Photo Bloggers had a theme day once for out of focus photos. I was glad I had saved them.
How did you catch that? OMG! really incredible piece of work.
Thanks, no magic formula Jawad, just take lots of photos and hope for the best. Practice makes perfect.
Congratulations on the challenge. The photos are great.
Thanks so much Robin, glad you like them
