I am a firm believer in taking deep breaths. I learned this important lesson after losing my son. This is one of those little things most people do not even think about. But there is a lot of therapy to be found in long deep breaths.
This photo is courtesy of Pixabay. I love the quote. “Sometimes the most important thing in a whole day is the rest we take between two deep breaths.”
I would rather say the pause between two deep breaths, but it means the same. Long deep breaths can relax your entire body and your mind. It might surprise you if you have never tried it. I do this every day, sometimes more than once a day. On those occasions when I feel stressed, it definitely helps. So remember the pause between your breaths the next time you start overthinking or if you are stressed or whatever may be going on with you. All I can do is share what has helped me. This is one of those exercises I will continue as long as I breathe.
Breath is life and at the same time the entrance to meet life itself…
Absolutely it is, thank you for your wise words my friend.

You are right as always. I have never gotten into yoga but I should.
it’s mostly breathing and stretching, in that order. you’ve got the important part down…
Yeah I have friends that do it every day. The deep breathing is something I have learned myself. Survival.
You’re pretty much there
Good advice, it really helps to breath right.
Thanks Pamela, it absolutely does.
Breathing is an integral part of every meditation, more precisely an introduction to it.
