While checking out tweets on my Twitter page, I noticed a message from Alley Cat Allies stating October 16th is Global Cat Day. It is an important day for all animals, not just cats, to protect animals and animal communities worldwide by creating a safe haven animal sanctuary for the homeless animals that don’t have homes.
Gumby D’Arcy relaxes in his favorite window seat, his 6-foot cat tree, checking out his street view of our Irvine neighborhood. He often gets excited when he sees other animals outside, such as dogs, rabbits, squirrels, wildlife, and cats. But he is happy to be a spoiled, indoor cat, who works the night-shift, indoor hunting for mice.

I’m glad you told me this. I’ll know what to tweet on October 16. If you live in Irvine you don’t live far from my brother in Tustin. I have a lot of friends in Orange County. I hope the recent fire hasn’t come close to you.
yeah, i am close to tustin, santa ana, costa mesa, and newport beach. i think my brother in anaheim hills is close to the fire.
Hope he isn’t affected.
he said it is OK now. it stopped in his area. there are no more fires.

every day, there is a different national or international day created by someone. i dont know who is creating these day, but i follow mostly the animal ones to promote animal rights.
