Macro Monday – Oakmoss(Evernia prunastri)

It is a a species of lichen who grows primarily on the trunk and branches of oak trees,  but is also found on the bark of other trees. I found them on the bark of an old plum in my mother’s garden.

I know I’m a little late with Macro Monday. I could not post yesterday because I was away and did not have an internet connection. I took some special macro photos of these lichens, instead. Let’s not say that besides the pictures, Maya and I brought home a few ticks!?

Dear Virily Team! I haven’t been active for a long period of time but ….I’am back!! Your email has convinced me!?
