Yesterday I had a meeting with a Red Dragonfly! After I running, stressed and threatened her with my camera, she was convinced to sit at a close-up portrait for this Macro Monday! 
She rested for a few moments on a fence near the lake, then left.

Well! I guess you one that challenge. Years ago I used to sit on a rock in a creek and let dragonflies land on my shoulder. I never saw one that was all read before, just green, blue, and purple.
Glad to see she finally gave in for a quick pose. This is incredible.
