A strong earthquake shook Palu City and Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi, Friday (28/9/2018) at 17.02 WIB. Until 10:00 PM WIB September 29, 2018 the Palu earthquake was recorded at 420 people. It was only in the city of Palu, not including those in Donggala and Sigi.
The earthquake that was followed by the tsunami has damaged various infrastructure and other public facilities. This situation caused difficulties in the process of evacuation and distribution of aid which were constrained by difficulties in access because the airport was damaged, road access was interrupted, and the electricity and telecommunications networks were cut off.
While we continue to work to provide assistance to the victims of the Lombok earthquake two months ago, we also have to share concentration with Palu and Donggala.
