At this moment
I must stand in my sister’s shoes
So I can learn
How to turn
Her forever tears
Into something
Where hope lives
Reflection
My sister lost her son a few days ago. They thought he died from the flu. We all found out that he died from an enlarged heart. He had just become a father for the first time. My sister has never been able to cope with death, even of someone very old, so this makes trying to help her even more difficult. I will help her learn to hurl her tears into the sea, and then one day she will be able to feel the joy that this world has to offer. Never waste too much time living in the world of hopelessness, because you will miss out on many good thing.

I’m sure so many people are inspired each and every day from reading posts like this. Very nice.
Thank you Telia for making my day. God bless
How sad that tragedy strikes your family
Yes it is tragic indeed Alex. I just pray they can try to move forward and not backwards.
I suppose that is the best any of us can hope for
I am so sorry for your family’s loss, LaJenna.
Heart breaking such a great loss. Hugs to you and to your sister.
Thank you Teila for your kind thoughts.
Hugs out to you, I can’t even imagine the hurt and sorrow.
I empathize with you, LaJenna. I understand how difficult it is to be in your position at once in your sister’s position. For someone who has experienced loss, the advice is just something that is easy to say. But loyalty to accompany and persistence in showing the meaning of life sooner or later will surely succeed.
You know my heart goes out to you and your sister LaJenna. I will offer all the support and listen as much as I can. It is a parent’s worst nightmare to lose a child, no mater the age. Again, I am so sorry.
I hope writing can be a healing outlet for you.
…. You must always find hope, or sometimes it finds you.
Thank you for the love you show me when I need support. You have gained a sister!
I am here for you LaJenna, unconditional support. When you get a minute you might want to read my latest post.
Thank you Carol DM for all your love and support. I am truly blessed!
You are welcome, I hope you are all doing a little better each day. One step at a time.
Sorry for your loss. I don’t think I can ever handle death of a loved one that well. It’s hard. Only thing you can do is to treasure the memories of them.
Thank you Pam for your thoughts.
I am so sorry for your family’s loss. It’s never an easy thing and always serves to remind us how precious our uncertain time here is, and how crucial it is to shine a light for those we love.
Thank you Paul for your thoughtfulness!
At such difficult times, we need to feel the support of loved ones. Help and as much as you can to give hope. This is part of the carousel in life. I’m sorry for your sister’s loss.
Thank you lacho59 for caring, it means a lot.
Moments like this measure love. Not how much we have, but how much we can give. So sorry for your sisters loss, and of course, your loss as well.
Sad, be with your sister.
