This is Mission Bay’s fountain
Ever had people make promises to you and they are either really late or never show?
Mission Bay, a place in Auckland’s waterfront where Samuel Marsden preached. He was known as the whipping priest. I don’t approve of whipping anyone, but it was that time in history where it was accepted as OK.
Happens all the time…I don’t get offended but I remember what is “Good for the goose is good for the gander” . so if they make a 2nd promise and expect me to wait for them or wait for God, they have another thing coming!
In our country a public fountain is rare.

we used to say 15 minutes. That was the maximum waiting period for a late person. It is very frustrating I do understand that.
