Phone Call to Death

This poem is dedicated to my sister, that lost her son about a month ago. I want her to feel the strong connection with her son that even death can’t steal from her.

Hello death

You may have stung me

through the heart

where my son lived

Since I conceived him

Now and always

will his heartfelt spirit

remain with mine

SO DEATH

you see

true love

can’t really die

because

love started

and ended it

all

bye Death

Reflection

Since my sister’s son died even the word death has been weighing on my heart. I  came up with this poem with the hope of helping others suffering from the loss of a loved one, still feel a strong connection with their dearly departed loved one.

  1. Sorry for your loss. Most heartfelt poem. The greatest comfort your sister can know is that her son is with her still just beyond reach and will be watching over her. Blessings to your family.
