This poem is dedicated to my sister, that lost her son about a month ago. I want her to feel the strong connection with her son that even death can’t steal from her.
Hello death
You may have stung me
through the heart
where my son lived
Since I conceived him
Now and always
will his heartfelt spirit
remain with mine
SO DEATH
you see
true love
can’t really die
because
love started
and ended it
all
bye Death
Reflection
Since my sister’s son died even the word death has been weighing on my heart. I came up with this poem with the hope of helping others suffering from the loss of a loved one, still feel a strong connection with their dearly departed loved one.
Very powerful message! Our loved onces will always live in our hearts.
Thank you ellie925 for your thoughts.
You write the poem well with strong and touching emotions.
Do I get an A PROFESSOR LOL? Thank you for the compliment.
You got A with (+) how much is up to you!
Sorry for your loss. Most heartfelt poem. The greatest comfort your sister can know is that her son is with her still just beyond reach and will be watching over her. Blessings to your family.
Very well written LaJenna. Writing and journaling still helps me get though the difficult days.
I am sure it does Carol. I will tell my sister to do the same. It could help her too.
You are a great hope and support for your sister.
Thank you lacho59, i try the best that I can. She is getting better, but I just hope it does’t wear me down too bad.
