I’m so excited to put together my marathon training plan for Detroit Marathon. And even more excited to share it with you all. I’m going about this in similar ways to when I did my very first marathon back in 2007. I will be repeating this again once I start my training plan, but keys to making a good training plan is tailoring it around your daily schedule. If you have a very bumpy scheduled then you have to put together workouts that will allow you to get in what you need in-between. In the past I have put together training plans that restricted me to doing mostly indoor bike rides in order to keep up with my college homework. During that situation, I hitched along with running groups when I had openings in my schedule in order to get that push from other runners. I’m looking at officially starting my training mid-April, but in the meantime I will be looking to put one together based off of recommendations I find from more experienced runners than I.

It bothers me when art like this gets tampered with
I am right there with you, but I think the problem is that some folks don’t understand the difference between art and tagging…
And that is the sad part about it
life is full of tragedy, best not to dwell upon it
Some try to fix the art, but most of the time its best to just let it go and start all over.
when I do graffiti in my work, I try to layer it to indicate that process…

The marathon is in the month of October! I will be starting my training for it in April, but prior to April, I will be sharing my training plan.
now there is a new one.. in April.. then you have a lot of time to do this. what’s the prize?
A medal, and a sense of accomplishing another 26.2 mile run.
