How much to buy a fabric?

When deciding how many meters to buy a fabric, follow the very simple rule – the thinner and lighter the fabric, the more should be folds. This means that very thin day curtains should be 2.5-3 times wider than the cornice, and thicker and heavier 1.5-2 times wider. Of course there are exceptions, but they should be viewed separately.
