I want to continue the 365 photo challenge which I stopped doing when I become inactive because of other equally important tasks. I hope I could finish it this time.
We conducted a field testing audit on Child-Friendly Local Governance which is one of the special programs of our agency. The main purpose of the activity was to assess if the city is implementing programs for the benefit of the children. The activity was attended by the City Mayor and the head of offices in the City. The presentation lasts for almost three hours.
After the activity, we were offered to have a snack. This was what they served. Different kinds of native rice cakes perfectly arranged inside a native woven bamboo skin strips or what we called ‘bilao’ which is often used for winnowing rice.
Do you have bilao in your place?
mouth watering stuff here I guess
I haven’t had bilao but it looks delicious.
I had bilao in Singapore many years ago!
In my place, that bilao we called tampah, and some rice cakes are also similar, we call that white as a kue mangkok = bowl cake, but it’s usually red, green or brown.
Great program. Our schools also start slowly with a similar program
I’m glad to know that many countries are also pursuing programs for children. Thank you for dropping by.
Very nice decoration … it’s probably very tasty too
Thank you, Lado. I was at first got mesmerized by the beautiful design and I couldn’t start eating. So I just took a photo of it and enjoyed the food.
It’s important to enjoy your food and eat it, dear friend
What a great program. I think this is being done in some schools.
Thank you Carol. Yes, the program for children should be included in every local government unit’s plan and budget.
I think a few of the items looked familiar …
they all looked delicious!
Yes, they are delicious! thank you for dropping by Alibb.
