iHop Review

The other day while on a shopping trip my mom, my son, and I went to iHop for lunch. I thought I would review the restaurant and their food.

I ordered the Red Velvet pancakes in a combo with 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon and some hashbrowns. The pancakes were delicious and filling. The pancakes are $7.99 themselves, but for $1 more you can get the combo.  Seems like a good deal to get the whole combo meal.

The service was satisfactory. They were quick to seat us and take our orders. The waiters were friendly and came back to check on us. The restaurant was pretty clean as well. Overall, it was a very nice visit.

I would give them 8 out of 10 stars. The food was good, and there were plenty of options. I would definitely go back there and eat again.

Many compare it to Denny’s, which is a restaurant that is very similar. I don’t like one more than the other, they both have their own good qualities. For pancakes though, I would choose iHop!

Do you like iHop? Do you prefer Denny’s? I would love to know what you think of both restaurants.

  1. I like both. I had access to both of those restaurants when I was living in the USA but I don’t have those where I’m at now. I would always get the Moons Over My Hammy when I went to Denny’s. That’s all I would order. The meal was simple that’s why I would always order it.

  2. Living in Indiana for a long time the nearest Denny’s (and Bob Evans my personal favoarite) was much closer than the nearest iHop. So we didn’t go for many years. Now we are close to all three and don’t go to any of them!

Overall my personal favorite is Bob Evans.
