How to eat the mango and what we do not know about it

The mango is the fruit of the mango tree, a genus of tropical plant. It comes from India, where it was cultivated in the IV-V century BC. Over the years, it has gradually begun in Africa, then in America, and finally in Europe.

The tree mango reaches 35-45 meters tall. Fruits mature slowly, up to 6 months. They remain unevenly colored as they are picked green. Mango varieties are many. The most widely consumed is Mangifera indica.

Besides its exceptional taste, mango attracts with its rich levels of a number of vitamins and minerals. Virtually all vitamins can be found in it. The highest levels of vitamin C and provitamin A (beta-carotene). Fruits also contain large amounts of potassium and honey, as well as small doses of almost all minerals. Carotenoids, polyphenols, flavonoids, ketachines, tannins, etc. – All these antioxidants can be found in it.

Best to eat is the fresh mango. It can also be taken with preserved, dried, in desserts and jams, of juice or nectar, and as a garnish for meat and fish. 100 grams of product have 66 kcal, 0.6 grams of protein, 0.4 unsaturated fat, 15 grams of carbohydrate and 2 grams of fiber.

Many people wonder how this exotic fruit is actually eating. This is very easy. The fruit is washed thoroughly. Cut three pieces so that the middle piece is like a strip about a centimeter wide. It is good to cut accurately and close to the stone.

The other two flesh pieces are the most important because they have the most meat. At the top of the knife, a few cross cuts are made, taking care not to cut the bark. Then they turn and spread like a fan. The one-inch strip is also peeled carefully. And – it comes to the bite.

Little is known for the health of the mango. And they are many. It helps for normal blood pressure levels and improves the activity of the kidneys and the gastrointestinal tract.

It also strengthens the walls of the blood vessels, thus preventing cardiovascular diseases. The mango also protects the skin from harmful external influences and keeps it fresh and smooth.

And because it does not contain saturated fat and cholesterol, it is an ideal ingredient for most diets, without, of course, overtaking the amount as it is rich in carbohydrates.
