The following ten movies are the most interesting horrors that I tolerate the most because most horror movies are really stupid. These top ten have drama and suspense rather than being scary. I mostly liked these films because I enjoyed the story. I am sure there are more, but I don’t remember every movie I have seen in the past.

- Dawn of the Dead movies—old B&W one as well as the remakes.
- Night of the Living Dead
- Psycho
- The Birds
- The Omen series
- Monster
- The Wicker Man
- Carrie—1976 version
- Magic
Alfred Hitchcock is a master of terror: Psycho & The Birds are testimony to his mad genius. When I was in high school I went with my older sister to see Jaws. One scene when a diver is under a boat looking into a hole and a shark victim’s face pops into view literally scared us out of our seats! We jumped into each others arms in terror then laughed at our response…but I have to credit Spielberg for a moment of brilliance.
yeah, i think Psycho and The Birds are classic movies. but i dont think they are scary. they are just good drama movies, filled with suspense and mystery.
i didnt like jaws. i went to see it with family at a drive-in movie. i was bored, and i had a hard time staying awake.
I’ve seen the Carrie remake, dawn of the dead and night of the living dead and yeah they’re all great. I love watching Horror movies
