How did you know?
the sound bouncing off walls
to
fill the corners and
as we look we don’t see.
The walls are quiet now
each of them pushing the
other walls away
needing space
needing distance, but
each separate.
Are you a wall?
sound bouncing around
each wall touching the sound
shaping it
remaking the sound
into the
legs of a spider
that scurrying away
Doesn’t look like
the butterfly it was.
