The more youth-challenged crowd (read that to mean younger people) might think of Bridge Over Troubled Water to be an ‘oldie-moldy’. People my age and a little older probably remember it soon after Simon & Garfunkle released it in 1970. It topped the charts in 10 different countries, including the US and the UK, and it stayed on the charts in 1970, 1971, and 1972.
This rendition by Peter Hollens and Tim Foust is another one of those, “They did it again” duets. Their voices blend well together and their different styles are quite complimentary to each other. This is done a capella and shows the great sense of harmony both men possess.
The one that sang first I really liked his voice. The other one was ok.
I’d love to have a bass voice like Tim Foust and he’s the one I’m trying to pattern myself after
Another great voice , thank you for sharing
I love the fact that they harmonize so very well, though they each have very different styles.
A beautiful rendition of a classic song.
I definitely agree with you.
A beautiful song and very powerful as well.
Yes, there is a huge amount of feeling behind the music.
