Actor Jackie Chan on Thursday has announced his plans to make a fourth “Rush Hour” movie with is co-star Chris Tucker in the near future.
The first “Rush Hour” movie came out in 1998 which was a box office hit which was followed by “Rush Hour 2” in 2001 and “Rush Hour 3” in 2007.
When “Rush Hour 3” was released in theaters worldwide, the reception was not a box office smash hit compared to the first two films.
It appears that working with Chris Tucker in “Rush Hour 4” Chan and Tucker plan to end the series of two police officers chasing down the bad guys.
Chan is currently promoting his latest motion picture “The Foreigner” which will be released in theaters in North America on October 13, 2017.
Time will tell if the fans of the Rush Hour franchise are willing to see the fourth movie of the successful franchise that began in 1998 or has the characters of the movie reached the end of the line when it is released in theaters worldwide in 2019.
Rush Hour 3 was dull
When you go to the well too often, the product is not as good as the first time.
It should be fun to see once when it is out on Hulu or Netflix!

Enjoying Jackie Chan movies is generally fun, I hope Rush Our 4 will be very entertaining too…

I wouldn’t mind seeing a Rush Hour 4. They’re not great movies but they are enjoyable. I thought the short-lived TV series was pretty good also although it did not include Chan or Tucker.
That is true since Chan and Tucker have great chemistry in the movie while the television show did not possess that magic touch with the other actors.
I liked the two main characters and the guy with all the tattoos but the other TV series characters were weak. I also didn’t care much for the story arc involving his sister. I have to admit, though, that my favorite character in the series was Gerald. I don’t think he was even in the movies.

I thought he had retired. But I guess this is good news for Rush Hour fans.
I thought that Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker had retired from acting but I guess they were resting while getting ready to make a comeback in the movies.
Rush hour 4 will be super hit
The producers of the film want the story to be like the first movie.
I watched only the latest rush hour and it was a nice movie. That rush hour 4 for sure will be a legacy too as the first three movies.
It should just as good as the first three movies.
If this would push thru, I think it would be another action-packed and hilarious movie.
