Slow progression

Good morning. Just thought I would share with you my progressing cross-stitch that I am doing from the pattern above. All the photos in this post were taken with my very backward cell phone version…

This first photo was already inserted in one of my previous post and it is the very start of this cross-stitch pattern. In this photo you can see the outline of the back and shoulder of the young woman along with the beginning ofher blouse…

This second photo shows again the back and shoulder of the young woma with part of her jet black-brown hair along with her tie in her hair and part of her blouse and the beginning of her skirt…

This third photo presents an almost finished blouse and more of her skirt being done along with the beginning of the bouquet of flowers that the young woman is holding…

Finally, the fourth photo shows the face, the hair scarf and the right eye of the young woman. I have to cross-stitch the left eye and then needlepoint in some outline lines to finish the face…

Also in this post, I want to present to you my sister’s latest crochet creation creation: the infamous Donkey Kong. I personally think he is quite handsome.

Well that is it for now. See you soon…

What do you think?

    • Thank you so much Vidocka for your complimentary comment. Cross stitch depending on the size of the pattern and the count number of the Aida cloth can be anywhere from quick to a very long labour process. In this particular case it is a long process…

    • Thank you so much for your compliment especially since it comes from a man, right? I really enjoy my crafts whether knitting, crochet, tatting, cross stitch, the occasional needlepoint and eventually needle lace. Again a big thank you…
