I love to read all kinds of books. I probably get more reading done in the winter. A friend suggested that I read “An Innocent Client” by Scott Pratt. I had never read anything of his before so I thought I would give it a go.
The book was set in the south, which I find interesting, because I will don’t really understand the south. I like to see perspectives, because I am certain the view I get from my husband is a titch off. It does have a small town atmosphere in the book and I am all about that.
The town doesn’t really have much respect for the main character, Joe Dillard. (Does anyone really appreciate a lawyer unless they need one? Well Joe has one wish before he retires, An Innocent Client. It was a good read. I finished it in three days so it kept my attention. I would say, contact your local librarian and ask for it. Of if you choose to make the purchase and buy it, as I did. Donate it the library when you are done. (You can always check it out again if you want to read it again.)
I’m also one of those who read a little more
I’ll have to put that on my list. Only recently have I begun to read grown up books again; after several years of only seeing the authors we were seeking for our kids,
This sounds like an interesting book. I think I’d enjoy this one. =)
A good review Trenna. I don’t read like I used to.
