I have chosen a few of my Tulip Poplar tree blooms. I had never seen one before the one in the backyard. And the blooms are shaped like a tulip. Very cool. A fun fact about this tree. It is actually classified in the Magnolia family, not the Poplar family. The Poplar tree was used by the pioneers to make houses, barns and canoes. And the birds love the seeds inside the bloom. These trees can grow to be 100 feet tall! And this tree is the state tree for Tennessee, as well as Indiana and Kentucky.
It looks so much like a tulip. I even wrote down my comment on the tulips in your garden.
I know, it is very cool to see Elenka!

An unfamiliar unique beauty for me
That is one of many reasons I love this site. WE can share with the world our traditions and species.
