I am very happy that the trees are finally blooming again and spring is starting little by little.
I recently got this dianthus and I decided to use the blooming trees as a background. I used my phone to take the photo and I didn’t have much control over the settings. However, I like the bokeh-like effect.
Don’t forget to check out Elenka’s photography challenge.
Also, check out my previous spring post.
What a beautiful flower! And the background with blooming tree is awesome!
Thank you so much for noticing all the details! 🙂
Beautiful flower. I miss them very much, and I’m hard to wait for spring.
Me too, I am looking forward to the spring!
Thank you very much, Tas!
That’s great to hear, and wonderful photo! Very pretty flowers
Thank you very much for your kind comment! 🙂
My pleasure, anytime!! 🙂
It’s a bright and beautiful photo. I wish my dianthus looked that good. I think I need to prune and feed it. It’s in sorry shape.
Thank you so much! I got these flowers a few days ago, it’s a actually a flowerpot. I don’t know how much they’ll last, but hopefully they’ll be able to survive.
I hope so. I love carnations. They remind me of my mother who also loved them.
They are beautiful and diverse flowers indeed.
Very nice! Also the flowers on the trees i the background compliment the bright pink.
Thank you very much, Bradley! I am glad you like it.
Thanks for your sharing.I like it.

Thank you very much for your kind words, I appreciate it!
You have a great eye for pictures! Some of your pictures are dangerous, however, (like all the ones you post of amazing food). 🙂
You are too kind to me! Thank you once again!
Some rain has finally fallen in the drought-ridden Western Cape. Our Cape honeysuckle has borne a radiant flush of orange flowers, and even the smallest of twigs is rejoicing in the rain. We’re so relieved!
I am very happy to hear that!
Our trees are still bare. We are starting to get some crocuses (croci ?) and, while out on a walk today, I noticed some buds on the tulips.
I hope you’ll be able to enjoy spring soon! 🙂
All the flowers are pretty like this pink carnation, so are we all human. May we all become smarter to appreciate all that beauty.
That’s a wonderful message!
Very beautiful is the carnation.Perfect photo.
Thanks for stopping by, Branka!
Perfect photo Ellie! This is a lovely combination.
