Here is a highly color enhanced photo I took of a rock bluff on one of my hike to Three Sisters Waterfall in San Diego County. The bluff actually had these colors in them, I only enhanced them. I did do more by taking it into another program and making the edges more of a blue color.
This also works well for Nature Tuesday. Have a great day. 🙂
Thanks Tasartcraft! I do love purples and blues!
I do not know how to edit a photo although I know how to edit my translations. Your photo is fabulous but like alibb, I wonder if it was taken during the day or in the evening when the sun was slightly going down. It looks very dramatic and beautiful all at the same time.
Thank you History! Yes, it was afternoon with very long dark shadows on that bluff. The canyon was 1000 feet and very deep. Made for some dramatic areas for sure. I just enhanced it.
Nice effects on this beautiful photo Kim.
Thank you Carol, glad you liked it. 🙂
So these are the colors you see in the waterfall, Kim? Wow!
Yes if only they were more saturated. You see what I was talking about now?
Yes, I see it more clearly! So great!
Is it evening when you took it? Because it looks like evening or perhaps you edit make it looked so …
Nice editing!
I was in a deep canyon, it was around 3 pm. Since the canyon is so deep the shadows take over one side of the falls at around 2 pm this time of year. I intentionally turned up the ISO or light that my camera picks up so I could get the darkness light on the bluff. So it did have that evening look to it. I then just turned up the saturation in the colors. I hope this explained it better, thanks a bunch. 😀
Thanks for the explanation! 🙂
Wow, that’s a wonderful effect and enhancement. So shiny! ?
Thank you! That rock is so smooth, and with the colors already I just had to enhance them.
