I realized I am way behind in this 365 Photos challenge than I originally thought. I’m suppose to upload my 22nd photo already, instead this is only my 18th. Well I knew it wouldn’t be easy. That’s why it’s a challenge.
For this post. I found this horned beetle lying on its back on my driveway. Judging from its horn, I think this is a young one. Then again, I could be wrong.
Using a clip-on macro lens for smartphones, I took this macro shot of the beetle. It was not easy, since the optimum distance for the macro lens is just about three inches. Just imagine how close my phone is to this creature. Good thing beetles move so slow.

That’s nice reference for my beetle/girl hybrid *yoink*
Quite scary, amazing macro!
This is the advantage of technology. Then, you can not understand the truth. Whether it is small or large. Hahaha
This a spectacular shot. Lol I find it very challenging to keep up myself.
Yikes, that is one big beetle. Those little lenses do great don’t they, Great shot.
Hehe, actually it’s just slightly bigger than my thumb. And I am a small person.
Yeah. Though the macro lens is quite tricky to use but very helpful. I have to try the fish eye next time.
Oh it looks big from here. lol Great macro I should say then!!
