Live in black and white
sad and joy is the balance
accept sincerely.
Can we just want happiness if we hope to live a balanced life? How can we survive in life if there is nothing that builds and strengthens obstinacy to drive us to the height of growth? We are fortunate that happiness has led us to many achievements so make sure we have the depth of the foundation deserved to stand upright while trying to reach the star in the storm tonight.
Osho says; “Sadness gives depth. Happiness gives height. Sadness gives roots. Happiness gives branches. Happiness is like a tree going into the sky, and sadness is like the roots going down into the womb of the earth. Both are needed, the deeper it goes, simultaneously. The bigger the tree, the bigger will be its roots. In fact, it is always in proportion. That’s its balance. ”
Well, at least that’s what my bonsai says too!
This post is my participation in following the Haiku Poetry challenges which have started by LaJenna. If you are willing to join, here is the rule.
Well, just the root of my bonsai… Thank you…
The height of the root on the rock is less than 12 “and the total height of the bonsai is only 25”.
Joy and sadness are two sisters. I wish the joy is greater.
Do not worry, if that’s your choice, then it happens!
Great words Albert. Joy and sadness are both part of the life scales.
Thank you very much for your kind appreciation, Carol
