I am continuing with the 365 Photos Challenge and I am now on Day 82.

Today has brought rain all day long. It also rained throughout the night. But I don’t mind since I am inside looking out. The birds also do not mind the rain. With a chill in the air I decided to make a cup of hot tea in one of my favorite Eeyore mugs. It was exactly what I needed. I use local honey and a little cream. Hot tea always takes me back to special times spent with my Grandmother. We would sit in the rocking chairs on her porch, or sometimes the porch swing, drink tea, and talk. She was such a wise lady. I miss her still today.
Wishing everyone out there a great day. Never take one moment for granted.
My favorite Eeyore!!! Tea from this should be especially delicious!!!
Yes mine too, thanks for visiting. 🙂
Thanks, I appreciate you and your visit.
I love the mug! I drink a lot of tea, and for me the right mug is part of the experience.
Me too Barbara, thank you for visiting me and Eeyore. 🙂
A cup of honey tea with Eeyore is a fun companion in all weather, but especially when it’s raining while enjoying wonderful memories… Uuhhh…
Absolutely correct my friend Albert. It was exactly what I needed.
A good chat and a good cup of tea is always a good memory. I miss my grandparents…
Absolutely, you can never go wrong with that setup! Yes indeed, I miss my parents as well.
That’s a cute mug! Hot tea sounds pretty good too!
Thanks, one of my Eeyore collection. 🙂 Hot tea is so good when it’s cold out.
Excellent advice never to take any day for granted.
You are so right, I have been reminded way too many times.
Because we never know when the end comes.
Exactly, we are not promised tomorrow.
That is why I am always thankful when I get up in the morning.
What a cute cup! Love the vibrant blue color.
Thanks, that is what is called “Eeyore blue”, he is a fictional Disney character.
I have a friend who would love that cup.
Really? I have a collection of Eeyore, all kinds of stuff. 🙂
Welcome to Virily by the way!
Drinking is an old but wonderful tradition
Absolutely, and this is just what I needed today.
