I prefer this color to the bird of paradise. White is not so beautiful.
OH me too, by all means. And the whites are kind of messy, but this one grows on the fenceline and will create great shade for the hot summers. Hopefully. lol

It is. A lot of businesses around here have them, they hardly need any watering at all. Very drought tolerant.
Nature knows best right? I once had an argument with another flower designer I worked with. I had made this exotic arrangement, and had orange and a deep dark blue along with some yellow in it. She said this looks horrible, who would ever put blue and orange into an arrangement. This was years ago. Now you see this combo quite often.

So exotic looking right? I love them. I have a giant version, but it only bloooms in a white with pale blue touches. They arent as pretty as these, the reason I planted it was for shade!
That is a really beautiful flower. The only orange flowers I can think of are autumn marigolds.

I love this one too Kim and have never had one in my garden. I love the tulips and marigolds.
This wouldn’t winter well, and to bring it in and out would be impossible after it got a few years old. I still didn’t plant any tulips.. I really should, and I always buy a marigold just for pests.
