Collective Blindness ~ 365 Photos Challenge #186

Conditioned, conditioning, and being conditioned, happen constantly, repeatedly, and we are okay, aware or not, whether like it or not, take it for granted even feeling satisfied, moreover when it comes to our turn to win-lose, profit-loss, and praise without (or with) criticism. This is the basis of our general attitude to react or respond to events, circumstances or situations that are or will occur.

This is because the ego with its belief system is built on fear, a foundation of taught knowledge,  and general transactional dealings from generation to generation. It becomes difficult for us to see “what is behind it” to discover the real reason and the meaning contained in it.

The one who finds light and enlightened will definitely out of the coil spin and trying to show the source of his light to others. Those who believe will become fighters of it, followers or merely cheerleaders, while who do not believe will surely resist and also fight against. Open war is often inevitable, hidden war never stops, the war on tolerance was renegotiated and agreed again and again… continues… Then “light”  rolled up by time, wrapped again as a story to be remembered though still fighting foolhardy by us who still also blind, blinding, being blinded, and try to make others blind.

If you want to join, here is all about 365 Photos Challenge and I am on Day 186.

  1. Fear is a real emotion that can hurt people, but like Carol responded about how helping others can bring back joy into ones life. I have experienced this first hand. Helping others helped me grow in many ways. Great post!

  2. I learned this, and still learning, the hard way. Fear is the first instinct, then we have to learn and train our brains how to react or not react to the negative feelings and somehow turn them into positive. This can be sort of nudged while you are helping others. The joy comes back to you ten-fold. It can be the best therapy in the world. That is the journey I am on. But you already knew that my friend.

    • Yes, I know, my friend. This reply is something I am writing now, that nature gives ego as a curtain to dark our sight but also gives lightning to see in the darkness, repeatedly, whether we are afraid or not, like it or not. Thunderstorms will still come later or tomorrow, whether we are already brave or not, even then when we have been the lightning itself, we will still come and continue to tear the silence or the hullabaloo, riot, noise or whatever. Thanks, Carol.
