For today’s post in the challenge…I am sharing a photograph I took of some roses in my great-grandmother’s garden. She always has a wide array of flowers in her garden. She has some out back leading to her door, some along the side, and even a big rose bed out front near the road.
I’ll hopefully get photographs of those roses some time, but these roses are out back leading to her patio and entrance to her house.
What do you think of this photograph? They are pretty roses….but this day was super windy so was hard to get a good shot.
Hopefully you enjoy photo #181….I’ll share the next photo as soon as I can 🙂
Well done! Nice post!
lovely picture nice post…….
Thank you very much, glad you think so!
It’s great that your grandmothers are still with you. I wish her many nice years. The roses are lovely. The color is gentle. It’s often my favorite flowers.
That’s great to hear, and I am glad you liked it! And thank you 🙂
It is a special rose with many petals, in beautiful photos.
Thank you very much, I appreciate your feedback:)
Pleasure is always mine, Mommy
These are really beautiful. I enjoyed them.
Thank you very much, I am glad you enjoyed them!
A lot of beautiful roses. The colors are phenomenal
Thank you, and I agree they are a nice color!
Stunning color on these roses. Your Great-Grandmother must have a beautiful garden.
If I had a better camera, would have shown them even better…..but yes she does. She worked in a greenhouse before she retired….so her life has been around flowers. She’s 94, so she can’t really take care of them anymore like she’d like…but she has family who takes care of them for her.
94, wow you are so blessed to have these times with her. This photo is great. I am glad to hear family helps out. That is not always the case.
Yes we are, and she still is fairly healthy for being 94. Still lives in her own home, my grandmother (her daughter) stays with her every other week…so that helps her out a lot. I understand, that’s not always the case….but we all do whatever we can for her. I grew up spending every weekend at her house….and it’s great that Eli gets to spend every other Sunday with her. Sorry for the ramble…just sharing 🙂 I’ll have to find a photo of her and share the story in a post sometime.
