For the second time in the last ten years, I ruined a vacation by getting sick. We had driven about an hour yesterday when the illness hit me. We ended up turning around and driving home. The thought of another 8 hours in the car was daunting. Maine is off the books for this year. I guess that is why you buy travel insurance.
Oh well.
You live within the moment you are in, within the hand you are dealt. I am relaxing and recovering. I feel better today than yesterday. It is, simply a matter of getting better and at least enjoying a few moments of being off work!
