Here is another one of my favorite guitars that my husband and his friends made. This is their Jiki Hendrix custom guitar. This guitar was made five years ago. My husband’s friend John did the paint on this guitar. Another great work of art from the guys at MJM Guitars.
If he’s looking for a place to sell these guitars, then a good musician site is Reverbnation.com. It’s primarily for musicians selling music and getting their music out there, but the networking there would be valuable in finding better leads.
Thank-you I will let them know about the site.
The site also does collaborations with the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis, so if he is good at networking, then he will be able to make some important moves this year.
He stays off the computer, but they other guys may be interested.
He could also write a letter and mail it to Buffalo Chip because they are always looking for new vendors. Their address is on their website, and they always look at their correspondence. It’s probably too late to possibly work out something for this year, but next summer would be something to look into.
That is great. I like the colours.
Thank-you so much for stopping by and reading
that man understood guitars like few others ever can
That is for sure, he really could play.
still the most influential guitarist of all time IMHO
wow, your husband and his friends are extremely talented. is this a hobby or do they sell the guitars?
They want to sell them, but it just did not work out that way, but they are still trying. So, for right now it’s a hobby.
do they have an Etsy store?
No, they never did anything like that or even looked into it.
i would tell them to give that a try, they are likely to find customers there!!!
Your husband is quite knowledgeable. That is a colourful guitar
Yes, the guitars they make all play great.
It’s a beautiful guitar!
Thank-you, I think they did a great job.
That is a cool guitar. Nicely done.
Thank-you so much. My husband and his friends have been doing these guitars for over ten years, They have sold a few, but I am hoping they can get a business going.
We have serval custom guitars here. I only wish he remembered how to play. On occasion he will pick one up.
My husband can play, but he doesn’t as much as he once did. About ten years ago, he and his friends got into making them instead.
