From here you can easily reach all the city’s attractions. When visiting the Charles Bridge, you can escape from the crowds of people to the other side of the river – here the tourists come less, and they are scattered along the cozy streets of the Old Town and a large area of the castle. One of the biggest markets is in an Alexanderplatz, where attractions, food, and beverage merchants are scattered around the television tower. The most beautiful fair is undoubtedly being held at the Gendarmenmarkt, where the Christmas town is located between the concert hall and two churches. True, the entrance is paid here, but this market offers truly high quality and exclusive items. In addition, a large part of it takes place in closed temporary premises – a great opportunity to warm up after walking on the roads of Berlin’s history.

  1. Beautiful photos. For the past 25 years or so, vendors from Germany have come to Chicago and set up a Christmas Market in Chicago. It used to be just downtown but there are three now, the downtown one, one in one of the suburbs and, this year, one at Wrigley Field. They aren’t as large as the ones in your photos but they look very similar.
