Unto the Third Generation – part 18

Outside of the children of Eric, the other  grandchildren of Edward and Nancy Rashford did not do well.

They married money lovers who thought they were millionaires,  had their own children, and seemed unable to comprehend how little money they actually had.

The various businesses which were once prestigious companies were now struggling.  The Grandchildren had no idea how to manage a business.

As they had taken no interest in the realities of business, as they were not even aware of what they did not know, they relied on those they hired.

These persons, appreciating the ignorance of their erstwhile bosses took full advantage.

This is because the bosses were obnoxious and treated them like dirt. Hence, they retaliated by stealing in a manner that would be obvious to Eric but beyond the ken of the Grandchildren.
