Somebody came out with a brilliant idea and it came rather right in time. One needs to be careful while using words and figures. This is particularly so when you are dealing in money, property titles/documents and papers that need you to affix signatures and date them(that is put the date of signing thereupon). So this is not my idea but was egged on to me by another source, which can be treated as a free source , as of now.
Well using the year 2020 is best done in its full form. That is, you would need to write entire 2020 as such and you simply cannot take the risk of abbreviating it to ,say 20 like 14th April 20. If you do that then the 20 that dangles at the end of your date can be easily manipulated to read any year like 2000, 2001, 2002, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2021 and so on. So carefully date your checks with the full year 2020. Similarly, in filling online details insist on the full year format of four digits( almost all websites of banks and financial institutions give you that choice). Fraudsters are many and they are ready to manipulate things. One global command in a database can change the 20 of the year 2020 to any year as exhibited above. So it becomes our civic caution to use full 2020.
Next year 2021 we hope to be back to normal, though. Any thoughts on that now..LOL
