WOD – My return to the gym

I felt very good after work today and was in the mood to either run the trail or go to the gym. Being that the temperature dropped in the evening in comparison to the afternoon, I went with the option of going to the gym instead because since the start of my semester my visits have only been to pay my monthly bill, but that is about it. I entered the gym to encounter a new set up with new mirrors and a new decline bench where I could do my ab workouts on. Yass! No more creative workouts on the Lat pull down machine because now I have a legit bench that is made for it.

Since I have not been in the gym for a while, I did not expect much from myself, but luckily, I have been keeping up with little workouts like mountain climbers, push ups, and jumping jacks in my apartment to keep somewhat in shape during the semester. My workout consisted of:

  • 40 Push ups
  • 75 Jumping jacks
  • 60 Mountain climbers/ Cross climbers
  • 15 Pull ups
  • 20 Pound dumbbell curls 15 x each
  • 25 Jumping jacks
  • 30 Sit ups on decline bench w/ 14 Pound medicine ball
  • .50 Mile on treadmill – 154 heart rate & in support of USO
  • 40 Sit ups
  • .60 Mile on elliptical
  • 20 Push ups
  • 30 Crunches

I utilized music during both the treadmill run (AOC Obama featuring YM – Everyday) and the elliptical (The Weeknd, & Kendrick Lamar – Pray for me) workouts.

  1. They removed my tags in two other articles i posted. I’m a little heated because of that. They probably have no clue what I place them in there because they lack at communicating with everyone.

    • Scripted Sweetz was the name of my other blog, which didn’t last as long as Virily did. There weren’t as many writers as it is on Virily, plus the writers weren’t very serious writers. As for that sitejabber link, it has reviews from others that tried Virily, which I figured you might be interested in sharing something about this site.

    • That would actually be night to get paid per review. I currently write reviews on Yelp, and wish they paid there because I put a lot of time into my reviews there.

    • With everything you have mentioned I am actually curious how long Virily stays around. As for now, I am just trying to get everything that I can from it while sharing my work.
