WOD – Indoor workout

I actually felt great and well rested this morning, but needed an extra kick in the ass from a energy drink. Drank 8 ounces of the acai berry to fuel me up for this workout. And yes, it was tasty!.

Totally in love with the medicine ball! It is my favorite workout to get my heart pumped.

I felt very great during this treadmill run; it consisted of a 800 meter warm up followed by 100 meter and 200 meter speed bursts leading up to 3 miles total. I have to be creative on the treadmill or I will get bored, hehe. 

I chose to do a long indoor ride in order to get more out of the workout, since I had to substitute it over an outdoor long run. Thankfully I was able to watch the Wisconsin Badgers vs Michigan Wolverines game on YouTube because kept me occupied doing this indoor ride. 

  • 14 pound medicine ball toss: 40 repeats
  • 4 mile run
  • 20 mile bike ride
  • 30 push ups
  • 30 sit ups
  • 90 pound squats: 40 repeats
  • 50 pound overhead press: 30 repeats
  • 130 pound leg press: 30 repeats
