Warwick my husband paints and draws, he is “Classically ” trained with the old artists traditions. This type of art is not recognised or taught today. It is as Michaelangelo and Leonardo De Vinci learned. It is a discipline that should be taught to all aspiring artists.
Once you have learned this discipline, at least if you have to break artistic rules you will know what they are in the first place.
This is Warwicks oil painting in our lounge. It’s very precious to me. It tells a story of pioneer days in Northland.
In a way a picture tells a thousand words that books take 10 pages to tell. When I read, I don’t want to go into the descriptions of grandiose authors. This picture says everything.
Wonderful painting with powerful stroke and color!
Thanks so much Albert, Warwick thanks you as well.
Pleasure is mine, Pamela. Send my best regards for him
Thanks Carol, glad you like it..
