of course, we will most likely never see these things in real life because of cel phones and if you really have to skype then that’s what laptops and tablets are for. that having been said, these vp kiosks were a standard prop for 80s scifi films…

We don’t really need pay video calls, even on my cell phone, I don’t use the video function.
