The number 153 is a very interesting number. I associate it with the moon. This is because the square root of 153 is 12.369, the number of full moons in a year. The number 108 is also associated with the moon, and I will post on that later.
The number 153 is also associated with the vesica piscis. The closest whole number approximation is the ratio 153:265. 153 as a canonical number, and 265 as the number of days in the human gestation period. Jesus and the fishes in the net depicts this number, as there were 153 fishes in the “net”. A fish is a representation of the vesica piscis. 153 is opposite 666 on the tangent wheel, and thus denotes “light”.
153 has some interesting mathematical qualities. It is associated with the number 17. It is the 17th triangular number, and also the sum of the first 17 integers. 153/(1+5+3)=17.
153 is a sacred number. It has significance in the creating of the universe and the world. It has personal significance for me as well.
